2015 will always be a memorable year for us because it is the year we were formed and more importantly the year we came across thousands of amazing customers who helped us shape ourselves into one of Pakistan's leading e-commerce companies. I wanted to personally take a few moments of your time to thank you for helping us get where we are, outline some of our achievements and give you an update of some of the exciting things we are working on for 2016.
When we launched on 15 January 2015 we had hope, a vision and ambition. We wanted to empower Pakistani's and at the same time grow ourselves into a sustainable online store. We started out selling only mobile phone cases and used mobile phones. Since then over the course of the year we have been able to grow at an incredible pace. We became the first Pakistani online store to cross the Rs 100 Million in sales mark in its first calendar year of operation and we also became the fastest online store to cross that revenue mark. When we launched we made a promise to work on an inventory model and try and warehouse all the products we sell and this has allowed us to keep our order fulfillment rates at over 99% which is an industry high. Through the course of the year we were also able to introduce the concept of flash sales and sale days which has been replicated by more or less all online stores in Pakistan. We also ended the year with the launch of our bytes App Store. One of our biggest achievements was the launch of our fashion section which has been a major success. We were also able to make bytes vr an amazing success and have been able to dominate the virtual reality market in Pakistan by offering amazing products at super low prices.
2015 has been a great year for us and now we intend on making 2016 an even better year. One of the key products we have been missing on our website is home appliances. Warehousing them has been an issue for us and by February 2016 we intend to have a full portfolio of home appliances at the lowest prices in Pakistan. We have seen some major success in the Used Phones section and will be introducing new categories of used products. Our Home Textiles category is already in the works and you should see it roll out in the next few days. For us the most important aim for 2016 is to improve our logistics setup. We believe that one of the most important thing in e-commerce is to get the product to the customer as fast as you can. Our current logistics partner Leopards Logistics has provided us amazing support and has enabled us to reduce our delivery times by over 70% through the course of the year. For 2016 we are aiming to setup 15 warehouses across the country which will enable us to provide same day delivery in over 30 cities. Our bytes vr team has also been working hard over the last few months on improving our technology and products. On January 15 as part of #vrpakistan we will be launching a dedicated virtual reality section in the bytes app store to enable you to get more content for your headset. We are also working on a self powered virtual reality headset we will be launching late 2016 to go head to head with products like the Oculus Rift. A lot more amazing things are coming up in 2016 and we will need your complete support to enable us to better serve you.
Our first year was not easy for us, but you our customers gave us the will to push on. When we made mistakes you guys helped us improve rather than abandon us. We have made a lot of mistakes this year and left a few customers disappointed and I want to apologize to them. We hope to be your first choice for shopping in 2016.
